About the Holiday Toy Ride
The annual Holiday Toy Ride was started by our friends Joe Reichert and Julie Keating from Amling's Cycle in Niles. For over a decade they organized and helped collect tens of thousands of toys for needy kids.
In 2023, we took over the ride...with a great deal of help from Joe and Julie! Last year, our riders collected over 500 toys to distribute to kids in the area.
And this year we hope to collect over 1,000 toys!
There is no cost to participate in the ride...Just one unwrapped toy...But please feel free to bring more!
The ride is a leisurely 5-6 miles that ends at the nearby City's Edge restaurant, where we'll all enjoy a hearty breakfast!
